working principle:
The main body of the single shaft paddle dryer is composed of a cylindrical shell and a group of disks through the center. The heat medium flows through the hollow disk group and transfers the heat to the material indirectly through the disk. The material passing between the disc and the shell is heated by the heat conduction of the disc and evaporates water. The water vapor formed by drying is gathered in the dome above the disc and is carried out of the dryer by a small amount of hot air. Disc dryer uses the double-sided heat transfer of each disc, which can provide a large heat exchange area in a small space, which makes the single shaft paddle dryer compact.
